Processing Rates
Beef Processing
Two charges apply to every animal:
- Kill cost: $125.00 per head
- Processing cost: $1.10 per lb hanging weight
- Deposit: $250.00 per head due at booking
Worked Example
A beef at 900 lb hanging weight:
900 lb × $1.10 = $990.00
$990.00 + $125.00 kill = $1,115.00 estimated total
Hog Processing
Two charges apply to every animal:
- Kill cost: $100.00 per head
- Processing cost: $1.00 per lb hanging weight
- Deposit: $100.00 per head due at booking
Worked Example
A hog at 300 lb hanging weight:
300 lb × $1.00 = $300.00
$300.00 + $100.00 kill = $400.00 estimated total
Final processing cost is based on the animal's actual hanging weight, animal type, selected cut list, packaging requests, and any specialty processing services requested. The prices shown are estimates until the animal is received, weighed, and processed.

Cut Pricing
All standard cuts are included in the base processing rate. Specialty cuts (curing, smoking, sausage, etc.) carry an additional per-lb or per-item charge on top of the base rate.

Cost Estimate
This estimate is based on the hanging weight and cuts you entered. Final invoices are calculated after drop-off using actual hanging weight and confirmed processing options. Specialty cut charges (sausage, curing, smoking, etc.) are added on top of the base processing rate.
